"Graham absolutely transformed my daughter's bedroom. The cob walls of our old cottage had been plaster boarded over and this had led to terrible damp problems, making the room totally unusable. Graham removed the modern plasterboard and stripped all the walls back to sound cob. He installed a lovely oak beam to support the first floor properly and then began the process of lime plastering the walls - which we opted to have finished in a lovely, tactile rough scatt. Graham then finished the room off with a fabulous floating oak floor to complement our new beam!
My daughter now has a beautiful bedroom with gorgeous soft curving walls, a warm oak floor and not a spot of damp! My only regret is not having asked him to do it sooner.

Water Feature - Tavistock
“We were delighted with the work Graham - and Ali – did for us in the garden. The brief was to create a water feature incorporating some of the existing elements already here ie a large granite wheel, sloping bedrock and a lump of stone to use as a seat – oh yes and a limited budget!
The result was more than we could have hoped for, particularly as there was a very tight deadline, all to be completed as a surprise for my husband when we returned from a birthday weekend away. Not only does the rill blend in beautifully, Graham used local stone and Ali engraved a small piece of slate, but it has made us want to sit and enjoy the courtyard instead of just walking through. It was a great act of faith to leave them unsupervised while we were away but Graham is a perfectionist and we are delighted with his creativity and skill.”

Removal of old fireplace surround and installation of a wood burning stove - Tim and Karen - Dartmoor
Graham has done a first class job of installing our wood burning stove. We had to have an old stone surround removed first which revealed some unexpected results. However, Graham was always there to offer advice and solutions and kept us fully informed of all work required before proceeding.
It was a real bonus that he was able to do the pre-installation work, repairs to the chimney and the stove installation himself, as his level of craftsmanship, knowledge and skill are clear to see and thus very reassuring.
